We’re looking for scientists or engineers interested in building transformative technologies in the energy industry. Specifically, we’re looking at new ways to apply recent advances in robotics, automation and AI to the oil and gas sector.
How can we enhance safety in the oil industry (remote detection of faults, corrosion, leaks) to eliminate risks of harming the environment? How can we convert currently wasteful processes such as gas flaring to electrical energy? How can we capture carbon at source throughout the sector and convert it to other useful products?

role outline

You will work closely with the DSV team and other founders to identify state of the art research, assess competitive landscape and attempt solving challenges in areas such as carbon negative operations, process automation and energy movement across the energy supply chain.
The intention is to identify the right idea and the right team to launch a new venture by December 2018 and join full-time as a co-founder thereafter.
